This is more than just about old car lovers. The Antique Automobile Club of America, the South Florida Region has a history of helping people move past the hobby of collecting cars to learn more about them and meeting up with others who share the same interest. The South Florida chapter is in Miami, Florida and opened to people who love all models of trucks, cars and motorcycles, which have been around since the early 1900s. This group was established in 1995 and has grown exponentially with members from all over the state of Florida. You don’t have to be the owner of an antique vehicle to become a member or participate in events. As long as you love and appreciate its history, the club welcomes you. Events include brunches, picnics, dinners, tours, car shows, yearly holiday parties and special Sunday morning drives.

This car group meets in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; among other states and provides drivers with the opportunity to drive their own vehicles on popular race tracks in Homestead Speedway. The group provides members with a calendar of track events in Florida and Georgia. These events include high speed runs, road course track events, autocross events and club racing. The club has more than 1,800 current members and members are privy to all different motorsports clubs such as NASA, PCA, Hooked on Driving, PBOC, SCCA, FARA, Track Guys, ERME and more.

The BMW Car Club of America has an Everglades Chapter in Florida, which has its meetings every second Sunday at the Xtreme Action Park 5300 Powerline Road in Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309 between 10:30AM to 12:30PM. Meetings are also held in Palm Beach and Miami Dade counties on Tuesdays.

This group brought the LGBTQ community and classic cars together since 1981. It meets monthly at Smarty Pants Bar, 2400 E. Oakland Park Blvd., in Fort Lauderdale. There are other chapters in the state of Florida. The group has two membership types; namely primary membership and membership where people choose to access the drivershaft, use the website and receive the monthly newsletter. There is a yearly membership due of $30 and $31 respectively. You get to invite other members for an extra $5.
